Senior Vice President of Government Relations, North America
Chicago, July 8, 2024 – Allwyn North America is pleased to announce that it has appointed Josh Sharp in the newly created position of Senior VP, Government Relations.
Sharp is an experienced GR specialist with 20 years experience in leadership roles supporting collective associations and achieving positive outcomes for their members. Prior to joining Allwyn, Sharp was the Chief Executive of the Illinois Fuel and Retail Association and prior to that was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Illinois Press Association.
Allwyn is a full service lottery operator, supplier and business partner to North American lotteries providing innovative lottery technology and services, and engaging content to responsibly grow lotteries’ playerbase, revenue and returns to good causes. It is also the private manager of the Illinois Lottery, working in partnership with the Illinois Department of Lottery to operate a modern lottery that benefits the people of Illinois.
In this role, Sharp will lead government relations and external affairs in support of business development activity for Allwyn across the US.
